Dr. Robert V. Russell graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife biology. He attended the University of Tennessee, School of Veterinary Medicine. A resident of Williamson County, he and his wife Margaret are the proud parents of two children, Olivia and Bobby. His interests in the outdoors and history keep him occupied in his spare time away from the Hospital.
Dr. James C. Russell graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He attended Auburn University in Alabama, where he received a Master of Science degree in fisheries, as well as, his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. A resident of Williamson County, he and his wife Julie are the proud parents of three children, Wren, Dixie, and Ellie. His interests in the outdoors and woodwork keep him and his family busy when away from the Hospital.
Dr. Garrett A. Dawson is our newest addition to the Doctor team! Dr. Dawson and her husband, David, are Williamson County natives and graduates of Battle Ground Academy. Dr. Garrett graduated from the University of the South, Sewanee, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Garrett and David are excited to return to their hometown with their three dogs, Oscar, Beaty, and Jack. When away from the hospital, Dr. Garrett enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
